Laura Hart’s Bakery – update

So, more news on Laura Hart’s as I was there again at the weekend. She told me how she makes her amazing Pandoro dessert, which is a name she’s made up specially for it: it’s bread and butter pudding with dark chocolate chips and marmelade added in, then it’s cooled down and sliced up so you can eat it like cake.

Honestly this stuff is so delicious – all custardy and dark chocolate and marmelade mixing gorgeously in your mouth. Yum! I’ll try to recreate it on the blog one of these days – my mum’s fabulous marmelade in the cupboard deserves this kind of delicious pairing! Kudos to her, too, for creating amazing things to do with bread.

Also – Laura’s running bakery workshops where you learn to bake soda bread. Check out her website to find out more – I think £120 for the course sounds really doable.
