Cheese night

Cheese feast


I can’t quite believe it, but Cheese Night is nearly here! This is the brainchild of a few of our friends, mainly Jan, Jo Price, Becky and Claire Ball (as far as we can work out) and the whole idea is that we have a big cheese feast.

Each of the invited parties has to turn up representing a country – in the country’s colours – with a cheese or cheeses made in that country. That way we knew we’d have a good variety of cheeses to choose from.

I’m going as Italy and am taking a mozzarella, tomato and basil salad; Matt is going as Greece and is taking a greek salad with lots of Feta cheese in it.

Matt will probably write a review of the night when it happens…I just wanted to share the sheer joy of cheese and tell everyone about it.

What other kinds of food-related fun with friends can we have? I’d be very happy to host a cake afternoon when we finally move house…

    Can I “borrow” the idea?!
    I love cheese. I could live on the moon just because it’s made of cheese…
    Incidentally, I recently made this which was a nice twist on the caprese – Highly recommended :)
